Description
Test your understanding of animal groups based on their physical features. Create your own Venn diagram to compare two animal groups. For example, show that having a backbone is common to both mammals and fish. View and print out an assessment report. This assessment object is one in a series of four objects.
Objective
1. Students group animals according to whether they are vertebrates or invertebrates.
2. Students identify a set of physical features common to a group of vertebrates.
3. Students recognize that some features are shared by different animal groups, and other features are specific to a particular animal group.
4. Students use a Venn diagram to compare features shared by different animal groups, and other features that are specific to a particular animal group.
