About LR Portal

Q: What is LR Portal?

A: The Learning Resources Management and Development System (LRMDS) is designed to support increased distribution and access to learning, teaching and professional development resources at the Region, Division and School/Cluster levels of DepED.
The LR Portal provides access to quality resources from the Regions, Divisions, Cluster/School level: including,

  • information on quantity and quality and location of textbooks and supplementary materials, and cultural expertise,
  • access to learning, teaching and professional development resources in digital format and locates resources in print format and hard copy,
  • standards, specifications and guidelines for assessing & evaluating, acquiring & harvesting, modification, development and production of resources
It is also a quality assurance system providing support to DepED Regions, Divisions and Schools in the selection and acquisition of quality digital and non-digital resources in response to identified local educational needs.

Q: What is the difference between LR portal and LRMDS?

A: The Learning Resources Management and Development System (LRMDS) comprises four integrated sub-systems designed to support increased distribution and access to learning, teaching and professional development resources at the Region, Division and School/Cluster levels of DepED. The whole system covers the ff:
  • Assessment and Evaluation
  • Development, Acquisition and Distribution
  • Storage and Maintenance
  • Publication and Delivery

While LRMDS covers all these components, the LR Portal on the other hand is a web based catalogue and repository of learning, teaching and professional development resources. It functions as a clearinghouse. That is, it provides information about the location of resources (hardcopy and softcopy) and allows users of the system to access directly digitized versions of resources that are published and stored within the LR Portal repository. It is also a quality assurance system providing support to DepED Regions, Divisions and Schools in the selection and acquisition of quality digital and non-digital resources in response to identified local educational needs.

Account Settings

Q: Can I still access my old account in the LR portal?

Yes, for as long as you still have access with the e-mail address used in the old portal. Follow the steps below to retrieve your old LR portal account:
  • Register to lrmds.deped.gov.ph. Note that to be able to retrieve your old account, you must use the same registered e-mail address in the old portal.
  • Confirm registration by clicking on link sent to your e-mail.
  • After a successful registration, login to lrmds.deped.gov.ph
  • You shall be directed to a page with an activation button. Click button to retrieve old account.

Q: What should I do if I forgot my password?

A: You should reset your password by doing the following steps:
  • Go to the Login page by clicking on the Login link on top of the main menu.
  • Click on the "Click here to reset it" link at the bottom of the login box.
  • Type in your current e-mail address or username and click the Reset button
  • A message shall be sent to your registered e-mail address
  • Click on the reset password button or link.
  • Input your new password.

Q: How do I change my current e-mail address and/or username?

A: You may change your current e-mail address and/or username by doing the following steps:
  • Login to your current account
  • Go to your "Member Panel" by clicking on the Member's icon located on the right side of the main menu.
  • On the left sidebar, click on the update profile.
  • Change your username and/or e-mail address accordingly. Please note that you have to re-enter your current password to be able to proceed. (This is being done for security purposes.)
  • Click on the Update button.

Q: How do I get a DepEd e-mail account?

Please contact your nearest IT Officer.

New Account

Q: How do I create a new account?

A: To create a new account, you must register to the LR Portal by doing the following steps:
  • Go to Register page by clicking on the Register link on top of the main menu.
  • Fill in all the required fields and click on the Register button.
  • A message shall be sent to the e-mail address you have registered.
  • Click on the activate button.

Q: Why didn't I receive a verification e-mail after clicking on the Register button?

A: If you were not able to receive the verification message on your inbox, kindly check your spam or junk mail.

Q: What should I do, if I clicked on the activate button and nothing happened?

A: Copy and paste the entire URL provided on the message to your browser.

Downloading Materials

Q: Why can't I download any materials?

A: Make sure you are logged in to the portal, if not you may click on the Login link on the right side of the main menu. If you are not registered yet, please see topic on creating new account.

Q: I am already logged in to the portal, how come I still not able to download all resourcess?

A: If you are trying to download restricted resources such as Teaching Guides, Tests or Assessment, you must be logged in to the portal using DepEd e-mail account.

Q: What should I do if I wish to upgrade my current account as DepEd Personnel to be able to download restricted materials?

A: You need to get first a DepEd e-mail account. You may get it by clicking here.
