Module 1 of the Philippine Politics and Governance class serves as an introduction to the Philippine Constitution focusing on its history and amendments from its inception up to the present and its salient articles and provisions. This module discusses the political landscape of the Philippines and the important role of the Constitution in the equal branches of government. The module also touches on how these three equal branches are organized based on their respective key responsibilities and work in concert in the spirit of good governance.
