Description
Open the metal door to a treasure chamber by dissolving it with acids. Test everyday substances to identify which are acids: lemon juice, salt water, alcohol, vinegar, water and fizzy soft drink. See if they react with egg shell, litmus paper, sodium bicarbonate or teeth.
Objective
Students identify acids by using analytical tests.
Students explore common reactions of acids.
