This material will serve as a guide to identify words related to General Biology concepts such as cell parts and functions, cell cycle and cell division, cell transport mechanisms, photosynthesis and cellular respiration process, biological molecules, genetics, plant and animal organ system, evolution and biodiversity, taxonomy concepts, identification and classification of an organism, and evolutionary relationship of organism in the environment. It will also help learners to become more fluent in reading to understand what they read .
Objective
a. Read grade- level texts with appropriate speed, accuracy, and expression;
b. Read with automaticity grade level frequently occurring content area words (Science);
c. Read grade level text with 145 words correct per minute; and
d. Show helpfulness, teamwork and cooperation in performing the activities.
