Mathematics 7- Quarter 3- Module 3: Parallel Lines Cut by Transversal. 4. Mathematics 7- Quarter 3- Module 4: Geometric Construction: Bisectors, Perpendicular Lines and Parallel Lines. 5. Mathematics 7- Quarter 3- Module 6: Circles. 6. Mathematics 7- Quarter 3- Module 7: Construct Triangles, Squares, Rectangles, Regular Pentagons, and Regular Hexagons. 7. Mathematics 7- Quarter 3- Module 8: Solving Problems Involving Side and Angle of a Polygon.
Objective
1. represent point, line and plane using concrete and pictorial models (M7GE IIIa-1); and
2. illustrate subsets of a line (M7GE-IIIa-2).
3. classify the different kinds of angles; and
4. derive relationships of geometric figures using measurements and by inductive reasoning; supplementary angles, complementary angles, congruent angles, vertical angles, adjacent angles, linear pairs, perpendicular lines, and parallel lines.
5. derive relationships among angles formed by parallel lines cut by a transversal using a measurement and by inductive reasoning.
6. Identify the Euclidean tools.
7. Use a compass and straightedge to bisect line segments and angles and construct perpendiculars and parallels.
8. Copy segments and angles using Euclidean tools.
9. Illustrate a circle and other terms related to it: radius, diameter chord, center, arc, chord, central angle and inscribed angle.
10. Perform polygon constructions such as triangles, squares, rectangles, regular pentagons, and regular hexagons using straightedge and drawing compass.
11. Draw an object that shows the shape of a triangle, square, rectangle, regular pentagon, and regular hexagon.
12. Solve problems involving sides and angle of a polygons.
