This story is a product of the Division Competition on Storybook Writing from 2017-2019 of the Department of Education – Zamboanga del Sur Division. This Subanen short story is about Mara, a shy little girl, and her first day in Kindergarten school. This aims to show young children how enjoyable the school environment could be, to develop trust to other adults and to embrace new experiences such as making new friends.
Objective
This story book aims to build the trust of the kindergarten pupils to other members of the school or community and enjoy new learning experiences with acquaintances.
