One of the native delicacies of Bago City, Negros Occidental is known as "Kwakoy". This delicacy is made of native rice (any variety with white and soft grains when cooked), washed sugar, malagkit or glutinous rice, and milk powder. This mouthwatering delicacy was cut into rectangular shapes, perfect for coffee or favorite soda. It looks like a flat and hardened polvoron, a recipe handed down from generation, that has developed in ube and pandan flavors.
