This INSET Package is a workshop designed to assist teachers especially in the secondary and tertiary levels in making the teaching of mitosis easy.
Objective
1. To introduce several student-centered activities that promote meaningful learning of mitosis.
2. To provide opportunity for participants to identify the different stages of mitosis using enlarged photomicrograph.
3. To give chance to participants to construct models of the different stages of mitosis and a creative story about the process.
4. To provide opportunity for teachers to discuss the activities introduced in the workshop.
