Explore different graph types such as scatter plots, line graphs and histograms. Choose questions to investigate. For example, do girls have faster reaction times than boys? Select the appropriate data set. Then choose a useful graph type. Examine the data presented in the chosen graph type and draw a conclusion about the question you are investigating. This learning object is a combination of seven objects in the same series.
1. Students select appropriate information to answer questions or investigate an issue.
2. Students analyse data and data-handling processes to assist in decision-making.
3. Students observe the same data presented in different graph forms
