Description
Identify polygons on a range of prisms and polyhedra such as a cuboid, square pyramid or hexagonal prism. Picture in your head all sides of a solid. Estimate how many faces of each shape the object has. Rotate it to see and paint all of its faces. This learning object is one in a series of four objects.
Objective
1. Students see the relationship between 2D figures and 3D objects.
2. Students identify 2D regular shapes.
3. Students visualize what is unseen in the 3D object.
