Description
Look at how contour lines are used on maps to represent the shape of landforms. Compare side and top views of geometrical objects such as a cone and a hemisphere. Examine contour lines on a map. Place geometrical objects on a 3D landscape to match the map. This learning object is a combination of three objects in the same series.
Objective
Students match different views (2D representations) of 3D objects with the 3D objects.
Students translate between 2D representations and 3D objects.
