Description
Compare the colors produced by light sources such as the sun, a standard light bulb and a fluorescent tube. Shine each light through a glass prism. Explain any differences in the mixture of colors from each light source. This learning object is one in a series of two learning objects. The series is also packaged as a combined learning object.
Objective

Students identify that white light is made up of colored light (the rainbow colors).
Students identify color differences between sunlight and light from artificial sources.
