Eyeball challenge: slingshot puzzle

Learning Material  |  Interactive Lesson

Description
Investigate a range of animal eyes: dog, cat, bee, fish, eagle and human. Discover how these animals see things in different ways because their eyes have different structures. For example, look at an animal's field of view, how it focuses and sees colours. Choose eyes to hit distant targets and unlock a secret chamber. Explore each vision system to find treasure. This learning object is one in a series of seven objects. Three of the objects are also packaged as a combined learning object.
Objective

Students explore the structure and function of the eyes of a range of animals.
Students compare how different animals perceive the same scene as a result of differences in their visual systems.
