Describe the reproductive parts in plants and their functions Describe the different modes of reproduction in flowering and nonflowering plants such as moss fern mongo and others Distinguish how sporebearing and conebearing plants reproduce Describe the different levels of biological organization from cell to biosphere Explain ingestion absorption assimilation and excretion Explain how diseases of the digestive system are prevented detected and treated Identify healthful practices that affect the digestive system Explain how the respiratory and circulatory systems work together to transport nutrients gases and other molecules to and from the different parts of the body Infer how ones lifestyle can affect the functioning of respiratory and circulatory systems Describe the parts of the reproductive system and their functions Explain the role of hormones involved in the female and male reproductive systems Describe the feedback mechanisms involved in regulating processes in the female reproductive system eg menstrual cycle Describe how the nervous system coordinates and regulates these feedback mechanisms to maintain homeostasis
