This self learning module in HOPE is intended for Grade 11 and Grade 11 learners wherein they will learn to
set Frequency Intensity Time Type (FITT) goals based on training principles to achieve and/or maintain health-related fitness (HRF). and analyze physiological indicators such as heart rate, rate of perceived exertion and pacing associated with MVPAs to monitor and/or adjust participation or effort
Objective
At the end of the lesson, the learner is expected to:
a. set Frequency Intensity Time Type (FITT) goals based on training principles to achieve and/or maintain health-related fitness (HRF), and
b. analyze physiological indicators such as heart rate, rate of perceived exertion and pacing associated with MVPAs to monitor and/or adjust participation or effort

Competencies
Sets frequency intensity time type (fitt) goals based on training principles to achieve and/or maintain health-related fitness (hrf).
Analyzes physiological indicators such as heart rate, rate of perceived exertion and pacing associated with mvpas to monitor and/or adjust participation or effort.
Observes personal safety protocol to avoid dehydration, overexertion, hypo- and hyperthermia during mvpa participation
