This storybook is a product of the Division Competition on Storybook Writing from 2017-2019 of the Department of Education – Zamboanga del Sur Division. It’s a story about a young boy named Zacky who gave roses to his teacher on her birthday but accidentally broke the teacher’s vase in fear of the rat that passed by. This story, written with a Josefina-Subanen translation, will give the learners the courage to confess and own their faults.
Objective
This material aims to allow learners to be honest and to tell the truth regardless of the consequences.
