Objective
Objectives:
1. to use the be-verbs (am, is, are, was, were) correctly in sentences (EN3GIIa-b-3.4).
2. to form the past, present, and future forms of regular verbs; and use the past, present, and future form of regular verbs in sentences (EN3G-IId-f3.2; EN3G-IIe-f-3.2.1.1).
3. to read phrases, sentences, poems, rhymes and short stories consisting of words with initial consonant blends l, r, and s (EN3PWRIIa-b-22); and read words with final blends (-st, -lt, -nd, -nt, -ft) preceded by short e, a, i, o, and u (EN3PWR-IId-e-1.1).
4. to recognize more common sight words in order to read simple phrases or sentences; and read familiar words and phrases in a text.
5. to read sentences and phrases consisting of words with consonant digraphs /ch/ and /sh/; and identify words which have consonant digraphs /ch/ and /sh/ (EN3PWR-IIf-1.1).
6. to spell words with initial and final consonant digraphs /ch/ and /sh/ (EN3S-IId-e4.1) and final consonant blends (EN3S-IIg-h-4.2); and identify sounds and syllables in words.
