Description
This is a learning material (Module). It contains the median of trapezoid, isosceles trapezoid, and parallelograms. It helps develop student's understanding on the different properties of trapezoids and parallelograms and harness student's skills in solving problems involving trapezoids and parallelograms.
Objective
1. to apply inductive/deductive skills to derive certain properties of a trapezoid
• median of a trapezoid
• base angles of an isosceles trapezoid
• diagonals of an isosceles trapezoid

2. to apply inductive and deductive skills to derive the properties of a parallelogram
• each diagonal divides a parallelogram into two congruent triangles
• opposite angles are congruent
• non-opposite angles are supplementary
• opposite sides are congruent
• diagonals bisect each other
