This story is a supplementary material that can be utilized for Garde 1 MTB-MLE pupils. It can be used as learning resource to develop the different literary domains in Attitude Towards Reading (ATR), learning competencies like giving the correct sequence of three events in a story listened to (MT1LC-lc-d-2.1),(MT1PWR-lb-i-4.1), and listening attentively and react positively during story reading MT1ATRlb-i-1.1). The story can also be used as springboard to teach learning competencies in other learning areas such as Araling Panlipunan and Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao.
