The home learning teacher/guide will serve as a guide on how to read the words. The teacher/home learning guide will use Explicit Teaching to teach the meaning of the words and their reading. This is a method that the teacher will do using Explicit Teaching: the teacher/home learning guide will present the lesson; second, model the lesson; third, guide the learner in the task; and lastly, let the learner read the words alone.The activities here can take up to a week depending on the student's ability.
