Identifies odd and even numbers Visualizes and represents fractions that are equal to one and greater than one Reads and writes fractions that are equal to one and greater than one in symbols and in words Represents fractions using regions sets and the number line Visualizes and represents dissimilar fractions Visualizes represents and compares dissimilar fractions Visualizes represents and arranges dissimilar fractions in increasing or decreasing order Visualizes and generates equivalent fractions Identifies proper fractions improper fractions and mixed numbers Visualizes represents and identifies unit fractions with denominators of 10 and below Compares unit fractions using relation symbols Reads and writes unit fractions Arranges unit fractions in increasing or decreasing order Identifies other fractions less than one with denominators 10 and below Uses divisibility rules for 2, 5, and 10 to find the common factors of numbers. Uses divisibility rules for 3, 6, and 9 to find common factors. Uses divisibility rules for 4, 8, 12, and 11 to find common factors. Solves routine and non-routine problems involving factors, multiples, and divisibility rules for 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11, and 12. Visualizes similar fractions using group of objects and number line Creates problems(with reasonable answers) involving factors, multiples and divisibility rules. Finds the common factors and the gcf of 2–4 numbers using continuous division Finds the common multiples and lcm of 2–4 numbers using continuous division Creates problems ( with reasonable answers) involving gcf and lcm of 2-3 given numbers. Adds fractions and mixed fractions without and with regrouping Creates problems (with reasonable answers) involving addition and/or subtraction of fractions using appropriate problem solving strategies Reads and writes similar fractions Compares similar fractions using relation symbols Divides
- simple fractions
- whole numbers by a
fraction and vice versa Arranges similar fractions increasing or decreasing order
