Objective
To develop in students the ability to:
1. Estimate quotients of whole number and decimals.
2. Divide 2- to 5- digit whole numbers by 1 to 2-digit decimals.
3. Divide 2- to 5-digi whole numbers by 2-digit decimals.
4. Divide whole numbers by whole numbers with decimals quotients.
5. Recognize and differentiate between terminating and repeating/non-terminating decimal quotients.
6. Divide mixed decimals by whole numbers.
7. Divide whole number by decimal and mixed decimal
8. Divide mixed decimal by mixed decimals.
9. Divide decimals by 10, 100, 1000 mentally.
10. Divide decimals mentally by 0.1, 0.01, or 0.001.
11. Solve word problems involving division of decimals including money.
12. Solve 2- to 3- step word problems involving decimals including money.
