This module is designed and written for Grade 6 learners. This helps them master the skills of finding the nth term in a sequence using different strategies and differentiating expressions from the equation.
Objective
The learner formulates the rule in finding the nth term
using different strategies (looking for a pattern, guessing and checking, working backwards) e.g. 4,7,13,16,âŚn (the nth term is 3n+1). The learner differentiates expression from the equation.
