This lesson focuses on the different steps in calculating the mark up percentage using some recipes of some local delicacies like Binagol, Moron, Suman and many others. Compute for the total purchase cost and impose a 50% mark up to determine the selling price of your product using the given formula.
Objective
1. Discuss the steps on how to calculate mark up percentage;
2. Compute the cost of production using local delicacies to determine the mark up percentage;
3. Value the importance of calculating mark-up percentage in the production of local delicacies.
