Description: This book is a supplementary material that can be utilized for Grade 1 pupils. It will help develop a reading competency skill in identifying and relating story events to one's experiences and it can also be used in promoting the value of thoughtfulness to the feelings of others (EsP1P-llb-2).This story is also made as a learning material that can help learners develop the competency in giving the correct sequence of three events in a story listened to (MT1LC-lla-b-2.1),giving the beginning letter/sound of the name of each picture (MT1PWR-lla-i-1.2) and participating actively during story reading by making comments and asking questions (MT1OL-lla-i6.1-1.1). The story can be used as springboard to teach other learning competencies even in other learning areas.
