Description: This Strategic Intervention Material (SIM) was conceptualized by the author purposely to serve as instrument in helping our grade three pupils to gain deeper understanding on the different kinds of sentences. Based on the analysis done by the teacher advisers on the competencies in English 3 for the first quarter, 90% of the pupils in the third grade have not mastered the concept mentioned above. In order to help the pupils to grasp deeper understanding of this theory, this SIM was conceptualized. This Strategic Intervention Material (SIM) is composed of 21 pages. It contains mostly different exercises and assessment activities that would definitely sharpen pupils’ comprehension on the different kinds of sentences. Answer key card has been included on the last page of the SIM for the pupils to refer their answers on the exercises and activities.

Objective: To enrich pupils understanding on the least mastered competency in English 3 particularly on the different kinds of sentences (e.g declarative, interrogative, exclamatory, Imperative).
