This story is useful in making big books for kindergarten pupils. The big books are indispensable learning resources in kindergarten since a kindergarten class is incomplete without story telling. In addition, the big books open the children to the world of printed materials which can facilitate their communication skills development.
Objective
This LR is very essential in conducting the story time which is one of the blocks of time of kindergarten class. It aims to deepen the understanding of the kindergarten pupils on the message for the day or content focus of the week. It also aims to develop their book and print knowledge which is one of the important reading readiness skills. Through stories, pupils' creativity and critical thinking are stimulated. Stories contain moral lessons and values that must be instilled among learners.
