In partnership with Plan International, this Self-Learning Kit (SLK) is an innovative tool produced by the DepEd Division of Davao Oriental to meet the standards of the K to 12 Curriculum in providing our teachers and learners relevant and localized content. The content of this kit is chiefly anchored on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) as part of Plan International's Child Center-Centered Recovery and Resiliency Project (C2R2 Project). Thus, many of its concepts and examples reflect the circumstances which happened during the actual calamities that hit the province.
