Description
This is a Strategic Intervention material intended for grade 6.
Several activities are provided inside the SIM to further master the targeted least-learned competencies.
Through this LM, the pupil/s will have to learn a least-learned competency through their own pace and master it through the guided activities.
Objective
Discover how the Earth changes over a period of time because of plate movements. (PELC 6.1)
• Describe the differences between oceanic and continental crust (PELC 6.1.1)
• Identify tectonic plate boundaries including transform boundaries, divergent boundaries, convergent boundaries (oceanic-oceanic crust, oceanic-continental crust, continental-continental crust). (PELC 6.2.1)
• Create a supercontinent (Pangaea) in order to see how the Earth’s plates fit like a jigsaw puzzle.
