This module is composed of activities aimed to develop learners' skill in listening to gather information, tracing sequence and organization of an event, and deducing meaning of words through context clues.
Objective
1. to listen to get information and answer some questions
2. to write a short talk on keeping memory active and alert
3. to distinguish between the vowel sounds /ey/ and /E/
4. to trace sequence and organization of an event using a map/web
5. to determine the basic pattern of text organization
6. to use transitional devices in sequential order when narrating an event
7. to write an organized narrative essay
8. to deduce meaning of words through context clues
