Description
Test your understanding of fractions by creating pairs that would add up to a target number. Target numbers can be whole numbers, mixed numbers or improper fractions. For example, work out how many ninths and how many thirds to add together to reach twelve-ninths. There are six tasks to complete. View and print a report of your results. This assessment object is one in a series of four objects.
Objective
Students identify equivalent fractions.
Students identify pairs of fractions (proper and/or improper) that add up to a whole number (up to 4).
Students identify pairs of fractions (proper and/or improper) that add up to a mixed number or an improper fraction (less than 4).
Students identify pairs of fractions with either the same denominators, related denominators or unrelated denominators that add up to the target numbers.
