Description: This story is a supplementary material that can be utilized for Grade 1 MTB-MLE pupils It can be as learning resource to develop different literary domains in Attitudes Towards Reading (ATR), learning competencies like inferring the character feeling and traits in a story listened to (MT1LC-le-f-3.1),giving the correct sequence of three events in astory listened to (MT1LC-lc-d-2.1), and participating actively during story reading by making comments and asking questions (MT10L-le-i-5.1). The story can also be used as springboard to teach learning competencies in other learning areas such as Araling Panlipunan and edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao.
