Objective
1. Explain the different factors to be considered in setting up a business
2. Assess one’s PEC’s, such as, characteristics, lifestyle features, and skills
3. Assess practitioner’s entrepreneurial competencies, such as, characteristics, attributes, lifestyle, skills, and traits
4. Recognize Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies (PECs) and skills needed in putting-up a business.
5. Assess one’s Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies (PECs): characteristics, attributes, lifestyles, skills and traits
6. Assess practitioner’s: characteristics, attributes, lifestyle, skills, traits
7. Discuss the characteristics of successful entrepreneur
8. Determine the common characteristics of a business market
9. Describe the legal forms of business
10. Describe the different industries in the country today
11. Map and analyze the opportunities offered by the industries in the community
12. Check the needs, wants. and demands of the market through environmental scanning process
13. Know the 4M’s of production
14. Discuss the importance of acquiring a start-up capital
15. Make a business plan
16. Apply the standards in selecting the best business location
17. Assess the internal and external environment of the business through Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats method of business assessment
18. Practice simple record keeping
19. Answer the activities accurately.
20. Participate actively in class activities
